Erin Fetherston, fashions "IT GIRL", sporting her own outfit on the runway. Her clothes are dramatic and full of fantasy to transport you into another place & time & mood. She is a story teller through her ultra feminine clothes. She has designed for Target in the "Go International" campaign in 2007. I wish I had known... I'd already have a piece of hers.
Loving a fun twist to a classic cape that would be perfect in Paris, New York, Milan or London (anywhere expect Orange County. Help... I'm stuck in the wrong town)...
Feeling a vintage or Betsey Johnson vibe...
The Alice in Wonderland look...
This dress is absolutely amazing and only shows well in the video below where the designer herself wears it. She fills it out properly and they capture the detailing perfectly. And, loving the gloves and hats to really pull a ladylike dressed to kill fantasy into this collection.
This video is fun, shows her collection beautifully with pizazz, and the hair and makeup are inspiring. It may give you the push you need to play the part in her fantasy!
A wonderful behind the scenes interview with Erin Fetherston by Designing Minds regarding her inspiration for her creations. Also, her timeline of design, a peek into her fabulous Parisian apartment and runway. A must see, even just to view the interior design!

~~Also, congratulations to fabulous fashionista Couture Carrie the winner of the Urban Spark Jewellery giveaway. She won the beautiful rhinestone starfish bracelet. It's a show stopper. And, her blog is a show stopper as well!!!
Would you ever wear these clothes? Or, is it just fun to see the trends and learn about fashion designers? Or, what would you want to see more of here? Let me know your thoughts...

Oh and congrats to CC! :-D
LOVE this, the lace, the frou frou, oh and that bow belt on the 1st photo, i so want it! I think there are things you could wear, definitely! other than that the collection is gorgeous
Great photos. So stunning.
I love her work! And I wish I had none about her little Target line, too :)
So glad I found your lovely blog. Have a great day!
That cape is absolutely stunning! And congrats to the super sweet CC!
I love the whimsical girly vibe of all her work.
Very beautiful clothes and collection and I would wear it if I have the chance!
Thanks a lot for your comment, I love it!
I think the designs are interesting. In reality I prob would not because my life doesn't give me much chance to be foofy, but, if I were younger and had places to go, I would where them but more mix and match. Like the stripe coat is cool but way too much stripage in the ensemble as it is on the catlwalk. I like the 1st dress, the 2 coats, and the final beaded work the best. The other one looks too much like a tie-dyed teacup turned upside down.

Fabulous designs! Yes, I would wera the outfit in picture 3, I really like it. First film was fun to watch. Will watch the other one tomorrow as I cannot ghave the sound on in case I wake up my daughter in the room next door...

There are certain elements in each of the photos you featured that I adore: 1) The ruffle on the skirt is so feminine~~it makes the all black not so harsh 2)The belt with the crimson bow on the outside of the striped coat adds the perfect amount of detail without too much distraction (note the matching trim on the bottom of the skirt~lovely!) 3) The cape is beyond beautiful: the short, sheer gloves & hoisery are delightful touches 4) Love this as well, the opera length gloves & frills are screaming for a jazzy party or night on the town! 5) I love the black bow in her hair~~it softens this rather bold ensemble in a sweet way 6) The jewel~covered bubble~effect to the skirt is just amazing~~imagine this in candlelight?. . .so to answer your question, I would probably not wear all of "one" but can definitely reap great inspiration from this amazing designer! She has a great style, and what stands out is how feminine, yet powerful, her work is. Great post from the Fab Gal!
